The Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering (CCEE) at North Carolina State University is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to conduct research on the social and economic externalities of transportation interventions under the supervision of Dr. Eleni Bardaka, Assistant Professor in CCEE (https://www.ccee.ncsu.edu/people/ebardak).

Other Work/Responsibilities

The postdoctoral researcher will mentor graduate students as assigned and will be given the opportunity to give lectures to undergraduate and graduate-level courses.

Minimum Experience/Education

Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g., M.D., D.V.M., Sc.D.) in appropriate field awarded no more than five (5) years from initial date of postdoctoral appointment.

Departmental Required Skills

Ability to work in a dynamic environment with people of varying backgrounds; good communication skills.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

* Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Economics, or Applied Economics
* Strong background in econometric methods and analysis
* Preference will be given to applicants with strong background in spatial analysis and

econometrics

* Knowledge of R and ArcGIS
* Excellent written and communication skills
