Job Description

North Allegheny School District seeks candidates to fill Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) Intervention Teacher Positions at the elementary level for the 2018-2019 School Year. The successful candidate will support implementation of evidence-based practices and programs, promote use of collaboration and problem solving techniques, model data driven decision making and advance meaningful parental and community involvement.

Minimum requirements include Bachelor's Degree in Education, a Special Education or Reading Specialist Certification in PA and current clearances are required, MTSS or RtII experience preferred.

The North Allegheny Foundation is a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to encouraging excellence and innovation in the North Allegheny Schools. The Foundation achieves this by providing seed money to facilitate the development of new programs. It is a broad-based community organization and programs supported by the Foundation are intended to go beyond the textbook to provide innovative "hands on" learning experiences. The Foundation is involved in funding and administering the Lawrence E. Bozzomo Scholarship. In addition, the North Allegheny Foundation provides fund management for several scholarships whose criteria are set and candidates are selected by other organizations.
