Job Description

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will be responsible for entry-level and limited fundamental engineering, while working with our sustaining engineering team to evaluate and revise manufacturing assembly instructions. The internship will provide the student with exposure to a manufacturing environment while allowing them to create an impact on the organization.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

* Develop assembly drawings from part drawing.
* Interview operators and engineers to understand process and issues, while determining if changes are necessary
* Create written and pictorial documentation of revised instructions
* Other projects as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

* Pursuit of a Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering associate's or bachelor's degree.
* CAD design experience
* Evidence of being self-directed and motivated
* Basic oral and written communication skills
* Understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities

Preferred Skills and Abilities

* Proficient In Solidworks
* Proficient in Mircrosoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
