Role Description:

As an Enablement engineer, your job is to create functional front-end software for web and mobile applications. You will work alongside experienced engineers on a small team of interns with backgrounds in product management, design, and backend engineering to create innovative software prototypes.

The Ideation Team Enablement Engineer Co-op will:

* Work on active projects to make prototypes of mobile/web applications
* Work with the design team to implement ideas
* Work closely with fellow interns and experienced software engineering mentors in a team-based environment
* Make tangible contributions to Nokia Software
* Be exposed to hands-on relevant experience

Who You Are & Required Qualifications:

* You are currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
* You are familiar with at least object-oriented programming language such as: Swift/Java/Python
* You are familiar with HTML/CSS/JavaScript
* You are familiar with RESTful APIs
* You are familiar with at least one of the following mobile development environments: Xcode/AndroidStudio
* You have used version control tools such as Github, Gitlab, etc.
* You communicate openly, and can effectively work with others to solve challenging technical problems
* You stay focused and can be productive in a fast-paced environment
* You are passionate about technology and motivated by unique and innovative ideas
* You have a great attitude and the ability to self-learn

Preferred Qualifications:

* Basic knowledge of Bootstrap and JQuery
* Mobile application development experience in iOS/Android, preferably with a working demo
* Knowledge of UI frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
