Job Description

Primary Duties Include:


Guest Engagement:

  • Greet, welcome, and/or acknowledge guests.

  • Recognize regular guests, use their name, introduce them to other store team members and let them know how much we appreciate their business.

  • Engages guests around loyalty programs and promotions.

  • Make suggestions and offer recommendations.

  • Share upcoming promotions and invite guests to return and take advantage of new offerings and specials.

  • If the guest isn’t satisfied, seek an effective solution to ensure the issue is resolved.

  • Repeat each order back to the guest, and double check every order for accuracy.



  • Actively seek opportunities to assist other team members as necessary.

  • Identify additional tasks during your shift (brewing coffee, washing pitchers, multi-tasking, and floating between positions).

  • Complete designated opening and closing duties every shift. 

  • Welcome and support new store team members.



Product Quality & Personal Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to product recipes, guidelines, and standards to ensure consistency.

  • Maintain product freshness by accurate labeling, rotating, and storage of ingredients.

  • Properly maintain and calibrate the various pieces of equipment.

  • Adhere to FIFO (First In First Out): Rotate product to maintain shelf life and avoid expired product.

  • Move between positions as necessary

  • Accurately enter guest orders into the POS (Point of Sale).

  • Follow all cash handling policies and procedures.





  • Wipe up spills, wash dishes, scrub counters, rinse pitchers, and pick up debris as necessary.

  • Use cut gloves when handling a knife and sanitary gloves when handling food.

  • Wash your hands often.

  • Sanitize food and beverage areas using the proper cleaning solutions.

  • Keep storage areas neat and organized.

  • Know how to safely use the equipment.

  • Adhere to all Health Department and company defined standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
