Summary:

The Administrative Assistant (Journeyman) provide executive assistance to the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information System (PEO EIS), Product Director Army Human Resource Systems (PD AHRS) Project Manager (PM) and Deputy Project Manager (DPM).

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Responsible for handling all administrative functions:
* Clerical work
* Calendar appointments
* Defense Travel System entry
* Meeting coordination and support
* Visitor management
* Security compliance
* Compile input and slides for Battle Books
* Coordinate presentation Read Ahead and ensure timeliness
* Coordinate calendar requirements daily and update briefing folders for next day
* Prepare packages for review that are briefs or any other material that must be staffed through the PMO and/or coordination with PEO or PD AHRS as necessary for external signatures
* Prepare memos, letters, reports, spreadsheets as required
* Organize all files
* Coordinate and assist in development/revision of SOPs
* Perform mail handling
* Manage office supplies
* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

* Bachelor's Degree required and 3 years of experience
* 7 years related experience may be used in lieu of degree
* 3 years of experience in MS office products, word processing, graphics, desktop publishing, editing and coordination
* Secret clearance required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Strong communications skills (both written and oral)
* Strong customer service and excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to listen and understand what is being described by the end user as well as the ability to explain problem resolutions when necessary
* Possess and maintain a valid state operator's license
* Ability to work independently without direct supervision or guidance
* Ability to occasionally work after hours and/or on-call support
