Job Description

Description of Duties 
  • Drive traffic to Nintendo.com, microsites, and other Nintendo-owned marketing sites by executing best-in-class search engine optimization.
  • Develop and lead SEO strategy for Google, Yahoo!, and Bing including mobile platform.
  • Establish and maintain best-in-class SEO by leading efforts with copywriter and front-end developer to set including meta-tags, schema, internal links, redirects, and canonicals.
  • Determine strategies, present concepts and implement plans related to the identification of highly searched keywords, goal setting, testing, deployment, tracking, and publish reporting.
  • Establish threshold for and maintain status as the subject matter expert of ever-changing SEO practices and search engine algorithm updates.
  • Make recommendations to management team on structural and technological SEO enhancements of the sites
  • Collaborate with paid search lead to optimize organic/paid search efforts
 

Qualifications

Summary of Requirements

  • At least 3 years of organic search.
  • Understanding of best SEO practices, search engine trends, and search engine algorithms.
  • Experience with SEO tools and/or platforms such as Rio SEO, Conductor, BrightEdge, Searchmetrics, and SEOMoz.
  • Experience with Google/Bing Webmaster tools.
  • Experience with paid search is a plus.
  • Experience in optimizing large online store is a plus.
  • Must be analytical with strong problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Omniture Site Catalyst or Google Analytics
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Must be analytical with strong problem solving skills
