What We Do:

* Expose you to various aspects of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable within a large company.
* Assign research topics and learning opportunities
* Help you apply concepts from school into a practical experience.
* Set you up to develop a project of your own, in which you can take ownership and that can positively impact the company.
* Create opportunities for you to network yourself as a part of our talent pipeline with prospects of full time employment and specialized programs.

What You Do:

* Fine-tune your analytical skills and problem solving skills by researching various topics, learning steps and procedures, educating one's self on the substance of the subject, and then presenting information to the AR/AP Managers.
* Assist the AR/AP Teams with various projects and assignments.
* Learn the day-to-day functions of the AR/AP departments and the role they have in Niagara by participating in the O2C and P2P processes (the building blocks of Accounting).
* Constantly challenge yourself to learn and grow in your skills and abilities.

Samples of Previous Intern Projects (projects differ from year to year)

* Streamlining the NCRM process
* Going paperless in a paper driven environment
* Transitioning non-PO Suppliers to PO Suppliers
