Internal Audit Intern

Location

Tulsa, OK

Job Description

The Internal Audit Intern position is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing a career in Internal Audit. Interns will gain hands-on experience with all four of NGL's business segments and will collaborate with all levels of Management. Interns will have the opportunity to be mentored by NGL employees, attend corporate events, and tour an NGL operational terminal.

General Duties and Responsibilities

* Prepare Sarbanes-Oxley flowcharts, walkthroughs, and testing.
* Participate in Operational Audit programs and document results.
* Evaluate information to determine compliance with policies and procedures.
* Work under the direct guidance of the Audit Supervisor and Audit Director.
* Other applicable duties as requested.
* Regular attendance at the worksite is required.

Position Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Effective time management skills.
* Ability to work well in a team environment that promotes inclusiveness and communication among team members.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, intermediate knowledge of Excel is strongly preferred.
* Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation.
* Must be dependable with a stable work history.
* Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Ability to maintain stability under pressure and be flexible and willing to modify plans and behavior when necessary.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
* Must be committed to working safely at all times.

Experience/Education:

* Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Prefer candidates who have at least a 3.25 GPA (out of 4.0).

Travel:

Negligible travel required.
