The Demand and Supply Planner is a highly visible, cross functional role
working with almost all the teams in the organization; purchasing, finance,
order management, customer service, sales, trade marketing, marketing,
etc. The ideal candidate for this role
is very organized, detail oriented, has ability to multi task and possesses strong
communication skills and leadership presence. In this role you will be
responsible for forecasting demand for key retail accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Create and manage product forecasts for
assigned customers. Work with cross functional teams to understand
customer demand and timeline requirements. Manage third party warehouse inventory
levels and replenishment orders Proactively manage stock out risks and
communicate recommended actions to cross functional team Participate in weekly sales and operations
meetings and lead monthly forecast meetings for assigned accounts Work
with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing & Finance functions to forecast customer
demand, manage supplier capacity and lead times, and achieve inventory goals.
Experience Required

Minimum undergraduate degree from an
accredited University (or equivalent). Minimum 3 years of experience working in supply
chain and demand planning environment Experience working in ERP systems (SAP, APO,
BEX experience required)

Skills Required

Advanced Excel abilities are required,
including V-lookups, H-lookups,
pivot tables, conditional formatting, IF statements, charts &
graph creation Demand planning skills within an outsourced
manufacturing and distribution environment Strong analytical, risk assessment, and
problem solving skills; ability to make quick and smart decisions. Must be detail oriented and extremely organized,
with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time. Good project management skills required. Honest, solid work ethic and self-motivated;
individual must show a strong sense of accountability, urgency and ability
to learn quickly and independently in a dynamic and fast-paced
environment. Strong interpersonal and communication
skills are essential, with ability to effectively communicate with internal
and external partners at all levels on a timely basis. Must work very well cross functionally in a
team environment, and have a strong ability to see the big picture of
cross functional objectives and the end-to-end business Individual must have initiative to expand
the role and responsibilities within a growing organization
