Job Description

Treasure intern will help implement a credit monitoring tool for our energy efficiency program. We are looking for this tool to give us up to date credit exposure for our $500m+ energy efficiency loan portfolio.

We currently do not have an updated monitoring system to quickly assess our credit exposure for our loan portfolio. An real time updated tool to monitor credit exposure would help us improve our credit investment process.

The reporting tool would evaluate each loan outstanding in our portfolio and provide real time credit rating for each borrower. This report would aggregate to a full report for all borrowers and provide an overall credit rating as well as exposure levels at each credit rating in the portfolio.

About New York Power Authority

The New York Power Authority is the largest non-federal public power agency in the country. It owns and operates a number of clean generating facilities throughout the state, including two large hydroelectric projects on the Niagara and St. Lawrence rivers. It also owns and operates more than 1,400 circuit miles of high-voltage transmission lines--about one-third of all such lines in the state. Under Governor George E. Pataki's leadership, the Power Authority has been a national leader in energy efficiency, electric transportation and the pioneering of new technologies such as fuel cells and solar energy systems.
