Overview

NYIT (New York Institute of Technology) offers 90 degree programs, including undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees, in more than 50 fields of study, including architecture and design; arts and sciences; education; engineering and computing sciences; health professions; management; and osteopathic medicine. Responsibilities

Adjunct instructors needed in the Department of Behavioral Sciences on the Manhattan campus with a specialty in psychology, sociology or criminal justice. Opportunity to teach basic level courses (PSYC 101, SOCI 101, CRIM 101) in addition to courses in one's specialty.

Qualifications

A doctoral degree in psychology, sociology, or criminal justice is preferred, as well as a record of scholarly activities, and ability to work with a culturally diverse population.
