About Cable Components Group

Cable Components Group was established initially to design and produce proprietary crosswebs and fillers for the data cable market, in particular, those made from high performance fluoropolymer materials for Category 6, 6e, and 6A applications. These products, a number of which are patented, remain the company's core competency. In 2003, the company moved to Pawcatuck, Connecticut, expanding into manufacturing facilities formerly owned by Davis Standard. In 2009, growth required CCG to move yet again into its current 58,000 sq. ft. facility in Pawcatuck to continue new product development in high performance materials and extrusion technology. We now run 28 extrusion lines and employ about 48 individuals. CCG consistently focuses on products and materials that provide better fire performance, electrical performance, and/or some form of enhanced physical performance. Our expanded product offerings, including our FluoroFoam (TM) products are used by high performance cable manufacturers involved in all industry segments and also fiber optic cable producers. More recent innovations with non-woven materials have taken us into markets outside of specialty cables such as the industrial filtration, HVAC, and clean (green) energy segments. This year, we are adding newly developed FluoroSpun (TM) fluoropolymer multi-filaments, yarns, and non-woven materials which will take CCG into markets outside of cables, such as the industrial filtration, HVAC, and Green energy segments. Finally, our expanded warehouse space has also allowed us to stock and sell high performance components including our recently added line of plated multi-wire that we stock for Assaf Conductors Ltd., of Israel. Success in specialty manufacturing requires a constant dedication to innovation and quality. Every day, CCG manufactures components for current applications and is designing ones for future market needs. To that end, we continue to vigorously protect our own designs as well as the proprietary designs of our customers. We look forward to partnering with you.
