Job Description

Maintenance Supervisor

PressWorks Ink is looking for a talented Maintenance Supervisor who can provide technical and mechanical support for all manufacturing equipment within our facilities located in Carson City, Gardnerville and Lake Tahoe. This individual will install and maintain production equipment, tooling, electrical controls, etc. throughout the plant, as well as maintain our buildings and grounds. He or she must have experience with preventive maintenance, PLC, VFD, maintenance scheduling, OSHA, electrical schematics, blue prints, trouble shooting, failure analysis, budgeting and spare parts inventory control.

Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills is a must. Licensed electrician or HVAC technician with over 4 years' working as a journeyman, foreman or supervisor is preferred. Must have a clean DMV record; pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. PWI offers full benefits and 401K.

Essential Functions:

  • Installs and maintains production equipment, tooling, electrical controls, etc., throughout the plant.
  • Supervises Maintenance Technician.
  • Troubleshoots equipment failures to address solutions, prepare failure analyses.
  • Prepares budget and maintain spare parts inventory control.
  • Must be conversant on applicable equipment manuals.
  • Performs repairs on equipment when needed.
  • Performs preventative maintenance.
  • Adheres to Safety guidelines and wear Personal Protective Equipment issued by company. Makes sure that work area is clean and orderly.
  • Must be able to work assigned shifts, which may include day or night shifts
  • Respond to emergency repairs when needed which may occur during all PWI shifts.
  • Makes equipment repair recommendations to management and staff.
  • Responsible for maintenance reports, ensuring that they are filled out accurately, legibly and completely.
  • Shares responsibility with all other members of team maintaining a safe environment. Reports all hazards to Production Director.
  • Maintains buildings and grounds.
  • Performs other work related duties as assigned.
