Job Description

We want new developers at Fandango pushing code to production as quickly as possible. To make that happen, here is what you would do:

Learn multiple technologies in a polyglot stack including, but not limited to:

* Node.js and Javascript
* C# and .NET
* Java
* Python
* Pair Program to learn the ropes
* Write Unit Tested code using Test Driven Development (TDD)
* Write Integration Tests using Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
* Adhere to the guidelines for Clean Code and the SOLID principles
* Deliver Stories in a Continuous Delivery environment
* Work as a full-fledged member of an Agile team in a DevOps cultureWho is Fandango looking for?

What you have done:

* Bachelor's in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience
* Ideally, some work as a technologist in a summer intern or work-study program
* Coursework in Data Structures, Object Oriented Programming, or Databases

What you know:

* Familiar with one or more of the following
* Scripting Languages: Javascript, Python, Ruby, bash, etc.
* Procedural Languages: C, Rust, Go, etc.
* OO Languages: Java, C#, C++, etc.
* Functional Languages: Clojure, Lisp, Erlang, Scala, etc.
* Understand Relational Databases and have written some SQL
* Worked with the Web: HTML, CSS, jQuery, etc.
* Familiar with Internet Architecture: HTTP, TCP/IP, etc
