NSA Overview

The professionals at the National Security Agency (NSA) have one common goal: to protect our nation.  The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense.  The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes.  The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive or classified national security information.  In support of the mission, our Office Managers perform essential administrative functions for the organization.

Description of the Position

Office Managers support the organization by:

- Leading projects, teams, tasks, and delegating tasks to other Office Assistants/Managers
- Representing office and/or an organization at meetings
- Providing support to Senior-Level Management
- Schedule, coordinate, and/or arrange for events. Meetings, visits, conferences, etc
- Planning and coordinating calendars
- Providing support related to proper protocol
- Staying up-to-date on on-going organizational activities
- Recommending improvements to various internal procedures and methods for streamlining office activities
- Answering phones and greeting visitors
- Timekeeping
- Records Management
- Operating general office equipment
- Ordering general office supplies

Qualifications
    
Salary Range:  $23,547 - $58,428 (Entry/Developmental)

Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 1 year of experience.

Relevant experience must be coordinating administrative duties (e.g., web support, key list, e-mail alias, timesheets, travel, and records management) and/or performing as a support professional (e.g., office assistant, office manager, customer service specialist).


Salary Range:  $54,972 - $71,467 (Full Performance)

Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.

Degree in a Business related field is preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable.

Relevant experience must be coordinating administrative duties (e.g., web support, key list, e-mail alias, timesheets, travel, and records management) and performing as a support professional (e.g., office assistant, office manager, customer service specialist).


Salary Range:  $66,510 - $123,234 (Senior)

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
    
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.

Work schedules vary from office to office. Office Managers may be asked to coordinate work schedule with office hours.
