Job Description

Candidates should have a background in one or more of the following topics: robust linear control systems, dynamics, statistical learning, digital control, power converter circuits, hardware-in-the-loop systems, and ac power systems. Application domains for the aforementioned topic areas include, but are not limited to: modeling of distributed energy resources including ac inverter systems, photovoltaic generation, and battery energy storage; modeling of residential loads; data analysis; control design; and experimentation via hardware-in-the-loop. The research will possibly lead to publications in relevant journals, transactions, and/or conferences.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a degree granting program, or graduated in the past 12 months from an accredited institution. Internship period cannot exceed 12 months past graduation. Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Please Note: Before interview selection, you will need to provide unofficial transcripts to verify GPA and full time enrollment.
