Job Description

This position is focused on the modeling, analysis, and design of power electronics controllers and electromechanical interfaces for next-generation ac systems. Candidates should have a background in one or more of the following topics: control systems, dynamics, digital control, power converter circuits, electric machines, and ac power systems. Application domains for the aforementioned topic areas include, but are not limited to: modeling of ac inverter systems, system stability analysis, control design, and experimentation via hardware-in-the-loop. The objective is to generate and publish results in relevant journals, transactions, and conferences.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

Must be a recent PhD graduate within the last three years.
