Job Summary

AWR (A National Instruments Company) is looking for an Undergraduate/Graduate level Electrical Engineering/Computer Science student to help develop and maintain various scripts and utilities to improve the performance and efficiency of various flows/tasks as well as helping develop testing methodologies for remote and parallel computing. AWR would also help in performing studies of how our electromagnetic simulator(s) (EM) performs over differing computer configurations for various types of RF structures.

The basic requirements for this position are strong computer skills and some programming skills. Any knowledge of RF and/or Microwave design concepts (s-parameters, matching networks, etc.) would be a plus. In this job, you will be working in a smaller office of people that have extensive experience in software development and microwave/RF design.

AWR is an Electronic Design Automation (EDA) company specializing in RF and Microwave design (please see www.awr.com for details) that has been in business for over 20 years. This job would be between 16 and 32 hours a week. We would be very flexible on the hours to accommodate your studies. Our office is located 9 miles east of the CU Boulder, in Louisville, and is on an RTD bus route.

Summary of essential job functions

* Develop and maintain various scripts and utilities to improve the performance and efficiency of various flows/tasks.
* Assist in development and creation of software regression testing methodologies for remote and parallel computing.
* Perform studies of how AWR's EM simulators scale for various computer configurations.

Minimum requirements

* Basic knowledge of programming fundamentals (Visual Basic, VB .NET, and Batch)


* Strong computer skills


* Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
