Market Research MBA Summer Internship

We are accepting applications for a summer internship in the National Instruments Market Research group. Market Research is a key component of our Corporate Strategy Group, and this is an opportunity to learn about and contribute to our market research work. As a global company, the customers and markets we serve are diverse, and market research plays an important role in understanding and analyzing needs of the market. This is an opportunity to develop and practice skills in researching and analyzing the external market, and in working with stakeholders to analyze impact to business decisions. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience of the corporate strategy function, regularly interact with members of the market research team and corporate strategy group, and work on projects that will support our strategy process. The position requires business acumen, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to drive business results in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties & Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

* Monitor and analyze industry and market trends
* Gather data on customers, competitors and market conditions
* Conduct analysis on market sizing, industry growth rates, and related metrics
* Transform financial and market data into useful business information
* Develop effective reports of market research information

Education & Qualifications / Skills & Specifications:

* Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business or related field
* Current MBA candidate
