Job Description

The Intern will be responsible for various administrative duties and responsibilities in a variety of departments including Human Resources, Marketing, Individual Solutions and Corporate Benefits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Assist advisors, client services and operational support teams with a blend of project-based work and transactional duties supporting each of the business units.
* Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams.
* Maintain data and client records in Microsoft Dynamics and our Benefits Administration System, Bswift.
* Resolve discrepancies and take action on routine matters and inquiries from external clients and internal departments.
* Escalate more complex issues following procedures to ensure timeliness and accuracy of processing.
* Execute other tasks and project deliverables identified by functional managers within the timeframe of the internship program.
* Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

* Proficient in writing and editing
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Attention to detail and highly organized
* Positive attitude and team player
* High level of integrity and strict adherence to protecting confidential information
* Proven administrative skills and expertise
* Good organizational and planning skills, with a proven ability to manage time well in a fast-paced, ever-changing, team-oriented environment.
* Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Education and/or Experience:

* Junior or senior of a four-year university preferred
* Pursuing a degree in business is preferred
* Demonstrated leadership experience in college, community, internship, or co-op experience
