The Position:

As a Cancellations Specialist YOU will be responsible for:

  • Processing incoming cancellations requests
  • Taking incoming calls and notating accounts with pertinent information
  • Relaying information and defuse upset customers in a professional and polite manner.
  • Maintaining an upbeat, positive, friendly and clear tone of Voice Over the phone at all times

Each day you will come into the office, log into the network and phone system and retrieve cancellations requests. These requests come via fax, email and phone. You will use dual computer screens to efficiently review customer agreements for accuracy, while notating account information. While on the phone, you will relay pertinent guidelines to customers, while maintaining confidentiality measures. You will perform calculations and follow-up as needed. In addition to the cancellations process, you will accurately track information in Excel spreadsheets, respond to customers via Outlook and create correspondence utilizing Word templates. Part of your daily routine will also include miscellaneous clerical work (scan, fax, file, etc.).
