The Payroll Department of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Intern. This position will support the Payroll team with filing, processing, file transfers, data entry and other related administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in gaining professional work experience .

Overall Responsibilities:

* Filing, scanning confidential information
* Assists with entry and data validation into the payroll systems
* Takes on ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed

Desired Skills & Experience:

* Ability to managers and employees with a high level of professional
* Good computer skills and experience working with MS Office suite
* Ability to prioritize tasks, provide timely and exceptional customer service while keeping up with a fast-paced environment
* Proven superior time management and organizational skills

Required Education/Experience:

* Is pursuing an associates or Bachelor's Degree and/or is highly interested in Payroll/Finance functions.
* Is available to work 25 hours in per week, including throughout academic semester
