**Job Description** **BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:**



+ The Solution Sales Representative is responsible for the expansion and maintenance of MSC solutions.



**DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:**



+ Underdirect supervision, the Solution Sales Representative is accountablefor increasing sales within Control Point Solutions Customers whichincludes CMI, VMI, Vending and E-Comm Solutions.

+ Under direct supervision, studies MSC’s solutions, products, services, sales techniques, and culture.

+ Supportsthe implementation MSC Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customerlocations to enhance revenue generation and customer retention.

+ Identifiesand develops new prospects within assigned customers, recognizes andpursues business growth opportunities that contribute to customer,branch, and corporate sales goals. Updates and inputs all informationregarding prospects and opportunities in CRM (Customer RelationshipManagement Tool.)

+ Evaluatesand recommends opportunities for Solution/Spot Buy growth to BSM andOSA while documenting this information in the CRM.

+ Underthe guidance of Solution Sales Mentors, BSTS, and ISS, assist withcustomer issues, increase product knowledge, and learns about MSC’sCulture.

+ Buildscustomer relationships via exceptional levels of service to ensurecustomer satisfaction and retention. Leverages relationships to growsales and solutions within established customers.

+ Logs all events daily within the CRM Tool.

+ Fosters the MSC Culture in the branch and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC’s Mission.

+ Participates in special projects and preforms additional duties as required

+ Logs all event daily event activity with in CRM utilizing iPad.



**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE** :



+ A High School Diploma or the equivalent is required

+ Associates Degree or the equivalent work experience is preferred

+ 0-2 years outside sales and/or customer service experience is preferred

+ Relevant military experience is a plus



**SKILLS:**



+ Computer literacy and proficiency in word-processing and spreadsheet software is required.

+ Excellent oral and written communications skills are also required.



**OTHER REQUIREMENTS:**



+ A valid driver’s license is required.

+ Positionrequires over 80% consistent daily travel within branch or marketterritory. Occasional overnight travel is also required.

+ May need to lift up to 50 lbs. based on customer needs
