Candidate Specification

We are looking for flexible and motivated graduates with a genuine passion for structural engineering, and a desire to make a difference in the world. If this describes you, apply today to launch your career at Mott MacDonald.

To be considered for the entry-level structural engineer position, you will have less than 12 months' post graduate experience and have achieved or, are working towards, master's degree or a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with a focus on bridges or structures.

We are looking for graduates with the following characteristics:

* A working knowledge of AutoCAD
* Civil 3D and Microstation knowledge considered a plus
* Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Obtained an EIT (preferred)
* 0-3 years' experience
* Excellent communication, writing and team skills

Job Description

You'll work closely with a professional engineer, alongside a team of engineers of similar experience and globally-recognized industry professionals. From your first week, you'll gain exposure to project work and start honing the skills to help you progress your journey at Mott MacDonald.

As an entry-level structural engineer within our oil and gas team, your responsibilities will include:

* review of vendor drawing
* structural calculations
* preparation of detail design drawings
* specification development
* shop drawing review
* responses to RFIs
