Job Description

Credit & Finance Interns will have the opportunity to apply theoretical learning acquired from their academic study, practically in the workplace and to develop skills that will support a future career in financial analytics.

In Moody's Investors Service, you will work in an environment that provides immediate challenges, encourages curiosity and initiative, and gives you the opportunity to get an in-depth insight into the workings of a ratings agency. You will have the opportunity to support Associates and Analysts in the rating process, including formulating ratios, preparing spreadsheets, comparative statistics and working on special projects as and when needed.

In Moody's Analytics' Economics, intern projects will include research and forecasting for state and metropolitan economies, international economies, and city economies globally. The work will also require general spreadsheet analysis, collecting and interpreting data for clients, working with the senior staff on larger research and consulting projects, and contributing to our live commentary website (www.economy.com/dismal).

In Financial Engineering and Quantitative Research, interns will apply their quantitative skills to modeling and computational exercises that help financial institutions around the world accurately monitor and measure the risk of their credit decisions and related business activities.Rising senior working toward a Bachelor's degree. Majors in Business, Finance or Liberal Arts preferred, but not required.

Graduation Date: December 2019 - June 2020
