Moody's Analytics located in West Chester, PA, is a leading independent provider of economic, financial, country, and industry research designed to meet the diverse planning and information needs of businesses, governments, and professional investors worldwide. As a Database Engineer you will manage and design the company's time series databases which may include historical and high-value added estimated economic and demographic data. Potential areas of focus include time-series estimation, client relations, documentation, process management and/or team management. You will gain the knowledge and experience of collecting, working with and understanding data from sources around the world - key for anyone looking to pursue an analytical career.

You will be part of the Data Services Group.

The position requires a motivated, responsible individual with a BA or BS degree and course work in economics, finance, statistics, or related fields. Excellent academic record and a strong proficiency in computer use. The appropriate candidate must be able to work collaboratively and independently, be adept at problem solving and developing effective work plans. Familiarity with programming languages is a plus. Knowledge of a foreign language is a plus. Because this position involves extensive team and client contact, strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
