Job Description

Responsible for the administration of IS operations at designated program locations including specifications, maintenance, development, service and training. Track IS resources and maintain vendor/consultant and end-user relationships.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Systems administration including but not limited to:
    • Build, monitor and maintain server hardware.
    • Install and upgrade server software.
    • Create and deliver client support for account permissions and profiles.
    • Repair and apply patches to server software.
    • Provide capacity analysis and management, forecasting the need for data migrations and expansion in storage capacity.
  • Provide support, 24x7, for system related issues. 
    • Triage all help desk tickets, resolve, and if necessary escalate issues to engineers.
    • Complete work orders, break/fix, and user administration tasks.
  • Provide support for installation of new applications.
  • Maintain and support system backups.
    • Provide for business continuity during server related problems.
    • Provide for disaster recovery contingencies.
  • Create and maintain specifications, system designs, procedures, and logs.
  • Document all processes, system changes/fixes, and issues.
  • Maintain consistent standardization for the server environment, infrastructure, functions, and objects.
  • Participate in project-based work.
    • Provide design and implementation expertise.
    • Support project teams on data migrations, server upgrades, rollouts, and production turnover.
    • Review server and application requirements.

Review, evaluate, and test new technology and new products from vendors

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Knowledge in networked drives

Assign Service Manager Tickets troubleshoot server problems

Active Directory Maintenance

Troubleshoot Incidents, and participate in project work

Box Deployment

SNMP

SCCM

Mobile Solutions

  • Implementation and support of server hardware and software
  • Customer support and troubleshooting

 

EDUCATION:

 Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
