The Board of Education seeks a dynamic superintendent withexperience in a high achieving, diverse school system. Thesuccessful candidate will prove able to channel the resourcesof the district and community through authentic leadershipand a vision of excellence based on inclusivity, engagement,and professionalism.

Salary is subject to NJ Cap limits of $196,584 plus bonuses andannual increases as permitted by law.

Applicants must have or be eligible for NJ certification as aSchool Administrator. Start on or before July 1, 2018.

The Montclair Board of Education operates a magnet-school system with 11 schools, including seven elementary schools, three middle schools and Montclair High School. Each school has developed specialized programs. Students apply for admission to the school with the programs that suit their interests and needs.
