The Headlines

In the role of a Enviormental Engineering Inter working at the Coors Brewery in Golden Colorado you will be part of the Plant Technical Services team in Production Operations. Our tech services team is the lifeblood that keeps our brewery going. The Environmental intern will complete improvement activities and projects related the brewery environmental program.

The Responsibilities:

* Perform engineering work related to NPDES permit compliance schedules.
* Redesign and use 5s (visual management) for hazardous/regulated waste storage area.
* Help arrange for complete removal of all hazardous waste/regulated waste at investment recovery and identify list of waste streams routinely going to the investment recovery.
* Research environmental regulations as requested.
* Facilitate part washer program refresh
* Perform site visit to waste management providers

The Other Qualifications -

* Must be 21 years of age or older
* Student working toward degree in fields of Science or Engineering
* Proficiency with electronic programs including Microsoft Office & SharePoint
* Ability to work 40 hrs per week during summer
* Flexibility to occasionally work weekends and off-shift hours
