Job Description

Moffatt & Nichol is actively searching for a Structural Engineering Intern to join our Walnut Creek office. Engineering interns will provide support to design engineers by being involved in engineering and administration of projects; assist in obtaining and reviewing information for Marine and Bridge Design and analysis.

Duties and responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of design documents including:

* Civil and structural plans
* Structural details
* Project specifications
* Structural calculations
* Structural modeling
* Cost Estimating
* Engineering reports
* Construction support services

* Education: Seeking Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; Master's student preferred
* Registration: EIT certification preferred
* Years of experience: 0-3 years
* Experience with SAP2000 preferred
* Ability to travel when necessary
* Ability to obtain government-issued access badges with background checks
* Any experience in Finite Element Analysis, AutoCAD, or Construction would be a plus
