Job Description

Moffatt & Nichol is seeking an entry level Transportation Designer to join our Atlanta office.

Responsibilities of this position include:

* Design and preparation of documents for:
* Minor and major roadway
* Sidewalks
* Shoulder improvements
* Drainage design projects
* Duties include assisting a project manager with tasks associated with:
* Plan preparation
* Cost estimates
* Report writing
* Client coordination
* Permitting

Requirements:

* Some experience working with and engineering consulting firm is preferred
* A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology is required
* EIT registration is preferred
* Experience working with State DOT projects is a Plus
* Strong communication skills

Software design experience should include:

* Working with Microstation
* Autocad and other additional cad platforms
* Civil 3D
