Position Summary/Purpose:

The primary focus of this position is to provide desktop support and troubleshooting for 100 plus branches through the United States and abroad.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Provides technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software and hardware, responding to these queries either through telephone or in person.Duties to include, but not limited to:

    • General help desk support

    • Configuring and deploying workstations

    • Workstation and server maintenance (testing and implementing patches)

    • Data entry (adding/deleting/changing records)

    • Anti-virus support

    • Back-up Management

    • Workstation print management

  2. Installs, modifies and repairs computer hardware and software

  3. Documents, tracks and monitors user issues to ensure proper resolution and tracking

  4. Will conduct research for more complex user issues

  5. Other duties as assigned.  Regular attendance is required to fulfill the essential functions of the job

  • Computer, telephone and electronic office equipment

  • MS Office Suite

  • OTRS
  • MS XP/7

 

Experience/Education:

  • 3 years' work experience in information technology

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Communicate clearly: verbal and written

  • Experience with MS Windows XP/7, MS Office Suite 2001-2013, OTRS or comparable help desk tracking system, Sophos, Imaging Technology (e.g., Acronis), Symantec (Veritas Beckup Exec, NetBackup, Remote Phone Support

  • A+ Certification, MCP or Network+, preferred

  • Telecommunications experience (e.g. Mitel, Cisco) preferred
