Department Overview

Americas Risk Management (ARM) is responsible for ongoing oversight of risk taking and risk management activities across all risk stripes and businesses within Mizuho Americas LLC.

Job Description Summary

This position provides administrative support to select senior Risk Managers in Americas Risk Management.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Support Risk Managers of Americas Risk Management in an administrative capacity:

* New hires, consultants and expatriate transfers: on-boarding resources including PC; phone and desk setup; business cards
* Off-boarding of above staff, including surrender of badge, PC connection termination
* Out-of-office assistance (e.g. reach me if urgent, redirect to covering person if not)
* Calendar management: meeting scheduling and corresponding conference room reservations
* Travel - bookings, research, etc. (including conferences and seminars)
* Expense report management & processing (including vendor invoices)
* Gift & Entertainment pre-approval, as required
* Committees; sub-Committees; Working Groups, etc.
* - Scheduling; CR reservations; meeting invitations
* - Meeting materials: collating, printing, filing (including saving to shared drive or Sharepoint)
* - Distribution of meeting materials via soft-copy, hard copy or PLS; including arrangements for iPads through the MDM Support Team)
* - Submission of meeting materials to HO as required and to internal / external auditors as requested
* Organizing office visits from 3rd party guests and visitors from HO and other Mizuho offices (e.g. registering guests with building security, reserving conference rooms, scheduling meetings, etc.)
* Back-up for CRO Executive Assistant and back-up to cover other Managers
* Assisting Managers with faxing, scanning, copying, IT office applications
* Office supply control
* Other administrative duties that may come under the purview of the Risk Manager's scope of operations
