Job Description

The Airborne Radar Systems and Techniques Group seeks an intern to support development of advanced radar systems for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions. This intern will work closely with technical staff members to identify project tasks and set priorities, then proceed to execute many of these tasks independently. Demonstration of strong analytical skills, as well as experience with Matlab™- or other high level programming languages, is desirable.

Intern projects typically involve one or more of the following: RF sensing, signal processing and machine learning, laboratory test and measurement, prototype system development, field testing, and data analysis. Interns will typically formulate procedures, designs and/or algorithms needed to complete a project, then develop and test required software or hardware, analyze data, and present results to their project team.

The successful candidate must be enrolled in a BS or MS program in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or Mathematics. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment is essential. Pertinent previous summer internships are beneficial.
