As a product development engineer in the Microsemi Scalable Storage group, you will get hands-on experience developing our next generation of storage controller SOC products. This will involve taking a design from initial concept to production form. Throughout you will work beside experienced engineers and be exposed to Microsemi's Best-In-Class engineering practices. Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for pre-silicon verification of digital integrated circuits at the IP block level. Responsibilities will include contributing to the verification test bench micro-architecture, test plan development, test bench development, test case development, regression execution, failure analysis, and functional/code coverage closure. Responsibilities will also include contributing to the pre-silicon emulation and debug of the IP and supporting the post silicon validation of the SOCs/ASICs.


* Bachelor degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 0 + yrs. Experience
* Proficient in VHDL and/or Verilog/System Verilog
* Familiar with all aspects of the digital ASIC design flow including RTL design and verification
* Familiar with constrained random verification methodology (UVM, OVM or VMM)
* Good programming / scripting skills with languages such as TCL, Awk, C, Python or Perl
* Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills
* Excellent problem solving and debugging skills


* Hands on experience with digital logic design is an asset
* Experience with UVM verification methodology is an asset
* Experience with embedded micro-processors (ARM, MIPS) is an asset
* Experience with PCIe, SAS/SATA, NVMe, and PQI protocols is an asset
* Synthesis, Static Timing Analysis, and Logical Equivalency checking experience is an asset
* Experience with FPGA emulation and SOC design and verification is an asset
