As a UFS Product Development Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc. you will be responsible for developing new mobile solid state storage products to support Micron's internal business units. You will be involved from product concept all the way to customer qualification. This will involve working in a cross functional team composed of Marketing, ASIC, Firmware, and NAND Flash memory.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Product development
- Product validation
- Failure analysis: host system, firmware, ASIC & media
- Providing support & training to internal customers

Entry level candidates for this position will have:

- Programming and debug skill in languages such a Python, C or C++
- Basic understanding of CMOS devices and circuits
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- The ability to clearly communicate and document findings
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Experienced candidates for this position will have:

- Basic knowledge of NAND Flash technology and operation
- Familiarity with high speed oscilloscopes, logic analyzers or protocol analyzers
- Experience working with solid state storage or related technology
- Knowledge of mobile interface specifications such as eMMC or UFS
- Familiarity with mobile products, operating systems, and applications

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
