* Provides extraordinary service consistent with the ARIA luxury brand standards and SHOW Service Basics
* Assists the General Manager in overseeing all operations and staffing, including supervising service during hours of operation
* Supports the General Manager in the development and implementation of the strategic plan and vision for the department operations, fiscal budgets, and marketing strategies to produce both short and long term profitability
* Provides leadership and direction for staff and oversees all operations in accordance with luxury brand standards
* Check on all reservations, special guest needs and maintain direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations
* Evaluates and adjusts staffing to maximize efficiency and minimize labor costs, while maintaining service excellence consistent with luxury brand standards
* Delegates responsibilities to employees and supervises tasks to completion, correctly and on time
* Utilizes Spotfire to maximize sales and profits, manage labor and control costs
* Monitors the Profit & Loss statement and adjust strategies to meet business demands
* Exercises cost controls for all aspects of restaurant operation
* Follows current proper policies and procedures for Manager Comps and voids
* Ensures all dining rooms are in accordance with luxury brand standards
* Review time off requests and creates staff schedules and corresponding floor plans
* Maintain contact with cashiers to ensure correct policies and procedures for check handling/closing are followed by service staff
* Manages POS pricing, maintenance issues to ensure checks can be processed correctly
* Ensures correct policies and procedures for check handling, closing are maintained by service staff
* Monitor the cleanliness, sanitation and organization of all work areas
* Prepare weekly work schedules and floor plans in accordance with staffing guidelines and labor forecasts, adjusting schedules throughout the week to meet the business demands
* Maintains knowledge of all menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients, sauces, portion size, garnishes, presentation and prices
* Collaborates to maximize synergies, share best practices, and implement highly effective operational procedures
* Conducts team update meeting with staff and review all information pertinent to the day's business
* Constantly monitor staff appearance and performance in all phases of service and job functions; rectify any deficiencies with respective personnel
* Utilizes guest satisfaction performance metrics from GEM, TripAdvisor, Yelp, AAA, Forbes Travel Guide, and internal inspections to generate action plans to address service deficiencies
* Anticipates the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency at all times, working as a team to resolve all guest complaints and ensuring satisfaction
* Effectively communicates with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees
* Assist in overseeing all Human Resources activities including hiring, training, monitoring staff performance in all phases of service and job functions, attendance, and work closely with Employee Relations to resolve employee conflicts, issuing progressive discipline, mediate due process meetings, separations, and all aspects of the collective bargaining agreement
* Maintains a work environment that promotes teamwork, high performance, financial responsibility, continuous improvement, feedback, recognition, commitment to luxury guest service, mutual respect and employee satisfaction
* Promotes quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the Company's diversity commitment
* Provides guidance and leadership within areas of responsibility and implements strategies to keep staff motivated and engaged
* Ensures new hires understand luxury expectations and receive proper training and coaching on the responsibilities for each role, including all policies and procedures
* Drives Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to ensure successful outcomes
* Participate in the property's sustainability initiative through energy conservation and the use of recycling programs and materials
* Maintains and updates policies, internal controls, operational standards and procedures to promote compliance, including complete compliance with the Health department, Fire Marshall, state and federal labor laws, and all property rules and regulations
* Performs all other related duties as assigned


* At least 4 years of service experience in a similar setting
* At least 2 years of supervisory experience
* At least 1 year of Food & Beverage management experience in a similar setting
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Strong working knowledge of proper Food and Beverage service and kitchen operations, products, menu items and equipment used to perform all duties
* Working knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
* Excellent organizational skills, ability to function under time constraints and deadlines with attention to detail
* Effective listening abilities and ability to make strong judgment calls
* Working knowledge of POS systems
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Able to analyze quantitative and qualitative information to identify and assess patterns, trends, etc. to make successful decisions in support of business objectives
* Excellent customer service skills
* Able to lead and mentor a team
* Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms


* Experience working in a similar resort setting
* Experience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement
* Bachelor Degree in a related field
