POSITION SUMMARY:

To assist the Promotions and Special Events Departments in the coordination and execution of Casino Marketing, Slot Marketing, NOIR, and Hotel Events.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS:

* Assist in interacting and directing departments involved to coordinate and review all related tasks.
* Maintain gift inventory.
* Maintain, stock and organize stockroom.
* Assist with receiving gift shipments for Promotions and Special Events.
* Wrap or package gift items needed for Promotions and Special Events.
* Assists in overall effort to establish good relationships with Beau Rivage customers with an emphasis on our high-end guest.
* Answers telephones.
* Responsible for registration of player in all tournaments and or giveaways.
* Responsible for maintaining scores in tournaments.
* Responsible for handling buy-in fees and re-buys for all tournaments.
* Responsible for the execution of each giveaway drawing.
* Responsible for completing all paperwork for prize payouts to each winner.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma and one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Mississippi Gaming Permit

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

* Excellent verbal and personal relations skills, superior administrative skills.
* Able to speak and write English.
* Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software as required.
* Use of copy machine, telephone, and fax machine.

PHYSICAL DEMAND:

* Constant manual dexterity, sitting, reading, writing, using computers, hearing, speaking.
* Frequently standing and/or walking 20 to 30 ft and occasionally up to 1000 ft.
* Occasionally walking distances greater than 1200 ft.
* Frequently planning, directing others, following directions, reading, writing, using math, working at various temps, making decisions, concentrating, remembering, paying attention to and observing details.
* Constant eye/hand coordination, wrist motion, handling, and dexterity.
* Constant mental alertness to achieve high level of accuracy in completing tasks.
* Constantly lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling documents up to 20 lbs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work performed indoors, in a climate controlled environment. Occasionally work performed outdoors in an unpredictable environment. Employee will be exposed to odors and secondhand smoke. The noise level in the work environment varies from low to high. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS:

Must be flexible if needed for occasional work within and beyond normal business hours
