Position Description

The Tennessee Breast and Cervical Screening Program (TBCSP) coordinated by the Metro Public Health Department (MPHD is seeking a Part-Time Office Support Representative 3. The program provides funding and partners with agencies in Nashville and Davidson County to provide accessible FREE breast and cervical cancer screenings for eligible Tennesseans.

NOTE: This is a part time position (15-19 hours per week); Benefits are not provided.

Typical Duties

* Assists in maintenance of records (services performed/individuals assisted), by using the Patient Tracking and Billing Management Information System (PTBMIS).
* Assists and answers program related questions from the public.
* Assist participants who receive bills for TBCSP covered services.
* Assists healthcare providers and individuals diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer with qualifying for the state's Presumptive Eligibility (PE) TennCare Program.
* Provides healthcare providers and individuals who do not qualify for TennCare with community treatment resources.
* Participates in TBCSP calls and meetings.
* Informs potential participants of locations and hours for screening/enrollment sites.
* Educates potential program participants about general eligibility criteria for enrollment for screening and diagnostic services.
* Performs other duties related to the TBCSP and MPHD.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma and three (3) years of clerical/administrative experience. Valid license, use of personal vehicle, and maintenance of valid personal vehicle insurance as required by Tennessee Law.
