Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty

Met Council is one of New York's largest human services agencies, providing thousands of New Yorkers with critical services to achieve self-sufficiency every year. With services including public housing, domestic violence and family services counseling, kosher food pantries, and career advisement, counseling, education and training, Met Council helps individuals find immediate and lasting solutions to complex problems. For 36 years, Met Council has been a defender and advocate for all New Yorkers in need, and has raised awareness around the growing problem of Jewish poverty.
