Job Location: United States : Massachusetts : Boston


Role Value Proposition: 

The associate will be part of the Fund Management team and responsible for maintaining Access and Excel systems, providing quality assurance, generating reports, analysis/trends, and performing accounting and invoicing responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Develop, prepare, analyze, and validate reports for accuracy and completeness; tailor report formats to audience and deliver timely. 

  • Provide detailed data analysis, high level summaries, and trending reports on different projects to management team.

  • Support cross functional projects related to generation of product prospectuses, regulatory mailings, and other required documents.

  • Perform quality assurance for home-built systems.

  • Perform database maintenance and data integrity analysis to improve quality and efficiency.

  • Record business expenses to the general ledger, generate invoices and track reimbursement expenses with external fund partners.

  • Proactive customer service including relationship building and partnerships with internal and external customers.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.


Required Skills:

  • Strong organizational, data management and project management skills. 

  • Experience working with relational databases and data analysis. SQL is a plus. 

  • Must be proficient in Access & Excel with moderate to advanced skills (i.e. vlookup, complex formulas, macros, etc).  Programming is a plus.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Detail oriented, organized, and ability to work independently.

  • Able to manage an assignment throughout its entire life cycle to meet key deadlines and communicate progress to management.


Typical Experience:

  • 1-2 years of related work experience preferably in financial services. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience; preferred in MIS or Computer Science
