Role Value Proposition: 

Perform the role of Lead BSA (Business Systems Analyst) for the MetLife Corporate Systems group directly responsible for the implementation and ongoing support of the Enterprise Global Risk and Compliance (EGRC) platform.  This role reports to the Director of Application Development requiring the coordination of resources across the risk management business functions to support a large complex multi-year program to design and implement a global EGRC platform.  The candidate would leverage their experience to provide guidance on the alignment of required processes and procedures to the technology.    The candidate will be responsible for defining business requirements, function requirements, functional design documents, testing and training requirements. As the SME of the business process and technical capabilities will manage the ongoing alignment to the integrated business requirements as system continues to evolve post implementation.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Deliver high level client service on large, global scale EGRC engagement including conceptualization, design, implementation and other key phases.

  • Demonstrate excellent writing and inter-personal skills to manage and deliver customer services.

  • Assist clients stay at the forefront of the EGRC tools and technology usage.

  • Act as a primary liaison between business leads and IT project team

  • Elicit, document and manage functional requirements and rules

  • Design and document use cases, functional specifications, reports screen prototypes

  • Review and assist in creating test cases

  • Work closely with Project Managers, developers, QA team, business users/BAs and may interact with architects

  • Document user guides, reference manuals, training materials and code release artifacts as appropriate


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field, or equivalent work experience

  • 8-10 years of work or project experience

  • 5-7+ years in the role of managing projects combined with technical experience directly related to the position

  • Possess strong leadership and negotiation skills

  • Knowledge of project management concepts and practices such as Scope, Communication, Financial and Risk Management practices, as well as Project Lifecycle methodologies

  • Knowledgeable in office automation tools (MS Office suite of applications, email, Internet, etc.)

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience with IBM Open Pages a plus
