JOB SUMMARY:

Prefer intern Pharm D graduating class of 2023. Reports to Manager, Pharmacy Services; under the general supervision and work direction of the staff pharmacists. Fills patient orders, floor stock, ancillary department supplies and unit dose medication carts for terminal check by registered pharmacist. Enters charges and credits onto patient profile via CRT. Delivers patient medications from pharmacy, returns orders and other pharmacy-bound materials. Maintains drug stock within pharmacy. Prepackages drugs using established procedures.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED) required.

Currently enrolled in a degreed pharmacy program

Must have valid Ohio Intern License

EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy highly desirable.

Familiarity with basic equipment such as computer, electronic calculator, etc.

Previous computer experience desirable.
