Job Description

The BSA Trainee is to understand and document project scope and objectives through research and fact-finding and with guidance of higher-level BSAs.

The BSA Trainee will learn to understand the customer's business requirements, business process management, and help translate them to specific, unambiguous and complete requirements that will be relied upon by business representatives, software development, QA and other teams.

Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Trainee is an entry level position in business systems analysis whose primary purpose is to learn the skills necessary to fully function as a BSA.

This is a temporary to hire position.

Researches software systems in order to understand existing functionalities and impacts of potential changes

Assists with documenting project scope and objectives through research and fact-finding and with guidance of higher-level BSAs

Assists with capturing the customer's business requirements and business process management.

Incrementally learn the steps necessary to translate business requirements to specific, unambiguous and complete functional requirements that will be relied upon by designated project team.

4-year college degree in information technologies; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

6 months of directly related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
