Job Description

The Software Developer (Robotic Process Automation (RPA)) Trainee is an entry level position responsible for coding/configuring, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining software applications as per defined standards in an environment that continuously introduces leading-edge technologies.

Code, configure and unit test functionality as per detailed functional specifications and established Standards

Demonstrate Mercury's core values of People, Service Excellence, Trustworthiness, Process Simplicity and Product Value

Regular attendance on a full-time schedule of at least 8 hours and 40 hours per week

Cordially and professionally interact with customers, vendors, superiors and peers

Various marginal functions

Education Requirements:

BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields with specific emphasis on database design, object oriented programming concepts, software design and development; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Experience:

6 Months experience in an internship or entry level job related to Software Development

Must have basic working knowledge in one or more applicable technologies or methodologies used at Mercury

Knowledge and Skills:

* Familiarity with HTML tags, JavaScript and ability to write JavaScript code when necessary.
* Knowledge of string operations and fluency in using regular expressions.
* Knowledge of SQL and understanding of relational database structures.
* Knowledge of debugging methods and understanding of automated testing concepts. * Workflow design skills.
* Knowledge of SOAP and REST web services, RPA tools such as UIPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere and familiarity with SoapUI are preferred.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in cross-functional matrix environment.
