Job overviewUnder general supervision this position is responsible for MBUSI Central Warehouse Service Parts Inventory Management of past, current and future models. This position is the main contact for GSP/LS, GSP/TP and PSQ in Germany. The position's goal is to improve the forecast accuracy and Service Level to its customers. Duties and responsibilitiesResponsible for different life cycle processes at MBUSI Service Parts. These life cycle processes exist also within GSP aftersales organization.

Identify and coordinate parts, which change from production to non-production part. Involvement in quantity, timing and capacity decisions with GSP/LS and GSP/TP.

Launch Management of a new vehicle or model year within MBUSI Service Parts.

Project lead responsible to coordinate the launch process. Track and report on the milestones and Service Levels.

Coordinate and lead the process of such suppliers.

Coordinate and lead the service campaigns parts availability for the NAFTA region.

Coordinate and lead the move of tools from one location to another.

Implementation of all new released service parts into the relevant service parts systems. In case of part number relocation, TM has to involve change management counterparts in Germany.

Introduce the life cycle processes within MBUSI Service Parts and work together with GSP to improve these processes in the daily work.

Responsible for monitoring inventory discrepancies, adjusting supplier orders and providing forecast information to the suppliers.

Monitor and maintain the annual service parts obsolescence budget.

Serve as the main contact for Daimler purchasing department to monitor and follow up on all open service parts contract and pricing topics and discrepancies.

Supports the implementation of individual logistics system between MBUSI and GLC to ensure proper data flow within the GSP aftersales organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Possess the ability to work independently .
