Job Overview

The Test Fleet Support Intern will support Test Fleet transportation operations and assist in the implementation of LEAN processes.


* Support Test Fleet and Local Cartage LEAN process improvements.

* Manage projects related to standardization, value stream mapping & compliance.

* Conduct hands on 'go and see' problem solving.

* Support digitization projects in the group.

* Learn and implement transportation best practices.

* Assist with operation support for Local Cartage and Test Fleet through compliance, safety, personnel, transportation and maintenance operations by understanding and enforcing FMCSA & ODOT regulations along with other internal processes and procedures.

* Must be participating in a Bachelor's Program or higher (or have graduated within the past 12 months) required
* GPA of 3.0 or higher required
* An attached resume is required
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

* Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management preferred

* Available to work 40 hours a week required

* Willing and ability to lift 25 lbs, and walk for more than a half mile on uneven terrain required

* Independent & able to act with a high degree of autonomy required

* Able to follow through on commitments required

* Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain preferred

* Python coding language or visual basic coding language preferred
