Job Description

Paramedics Mehlville Fire Protection District is accepting applications for the position of Critical Care Paramedic Starting $56,294; $60,294 with CCPC $84,344 after 4 years Benefits include health insurance, pension, tuition reimbursement, sick leave, attendance bonus, vacation, life & disability, holiday pay, uniform allowance, wellness benefits. Required: EMT-P certification through the State of Missouri. Preferred: CCP-C or FP-C certification.

About Mehlville Fire Protection

Founded in 1953, the Mehlville Fire Protection District (ISO 3 Rating) is a 100% career department located in south St. Louis County, Missouri, provides fire, rescue, emergency medical, fire prevention and inspection services for the cities of Sunset Hills, Green Park, Lakeshire, the townships of Oakville, Mattese, Concord Village, Sappington and portions of the township of Lemay and unincorporated St. Louis County. With an urban/suburban response coverage area of 52 square miles, the department protects a resident population of over 110,000 and a day time population of over 130,000. The MFPD is a diversified district comprised of extensive single family dwellings, multiple occupancy apartments, townhouses and garden apartment structures, industrial facilities, business and office parks and commercial and retail centers and complexes. Major interstate and highway systems criss-cross through the district which includes major rail lines and over 10 miles of waterfront. The MFPD operates out of 7 stations that are ^M strategically located to provide a quick response to the residents and visitors of the district.
