Job Description

General Summary of Position: Responsible for the installation, calibration, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical equipment throughout the Washington Hospital Center (WHC) and contracted accounts.# Reviews device specific repair history for identification of potentially unresolved equipment problems. Answers questions regarding medical equipment and its usage and documents activities.# Education: Associate#s degree or Higher level degree or equivalent training, such as in biomedical equipment technology or electrical/electronic engineering or military electronics, is required. Experience:# From six to twelve months experience required, such as an internship and/or previous hospital experience. # Certification/Registration/Licensure None for this position.
